1. Go to Skype website. Download Skype software. Register your ID there.

2. Ensure the person you call also have a Skype’s ID.

3. Plugin your headphone (with microphone) to your laptop.

5. Go the ATM machine & change your pin number.

Paypal is widely used to secure transaction over the internet. You may want to have one, coz’ it provides you convenience & flexibility.

1. Go to www.yuntaa.com and register as a user. Currently they are giving 1GB free space for netters.

2. Upload your documents (preferred in pdf & with smaller size) into Yuntaa.

3. Share your documents by providing email address.

4. Yuntaa will email the URL link.

Ultimately, we want to have all documents in our hosting area, but space is expensive. I found this Yuntaa website that give 1GB of space for free. So the above steps teach some tricks on how we can store documents, get the URL  and link it from our web page. It’s a workable solution for now. Later when money is not an issue anymore, we shall  buy space in hosting & store our files in it.

2. Apply/Open Maybank Visa Debit Card account via Maybank branch.

Note: You may want to do the above steps, specifically to handle payments from overseas customer. Paypal is a worldwide recognized payment gateway.

2. Go to the nearest Celcom outlet i.e at Jalan Ampang (Malaysia), beside Citibank building.

3. The Salesperson will attend to you immediately. You’ll also need to fill-in “Requisition Form”.

4. Some tips for you: Celcom broadband got 2 types:

Type 1 - Broadband/Standalone (supplied with the USB kinda tool - to function as modem). Plans available are RM38, RM68 and RM 98.

Type 2 - Voice (using handphone to connect to internet). Plans available are RM38 (500MB, 128Kps), RM68(5GB, 384Kps) and RM98 (5GB, 3.6Mbps)

5. Ensure you terminate the Pay-Per-Use 3G Internet service from your current Celcom plan. Otherwise Celcom will bill you double.

For you to get started ”to make money online”, you need to have at least one domain name ( aka. webpage name or url name).

There are 2 options for you to have a website; free or the paid one. My advise is, buy the permanent one because they are flexible & you have 100% control of your webpage. In the future, you may not want to share your internet  income with the provider.

Hi there ..

Noticed that with an idea alone won’t be sufficient. Some pre-requisites need to be done first prior to selling any products in the net.

Thinking of it, make me slow. Coz’ I’m lacking in this net gadget which was too complicated at first.

But, somehow I realized, I need to overcome this, otherwise I can’t move on.

Being in IT area, gives me a lil bit of advantages. I can see things in bigger picture & visualize  how things get connected.

For our benefit, let me share with you couple of things that I did to prepare the environment before start selling.

Let’s do it & keep it simple.

1. Buy domain name for your web page. Ensure to buy hosting as well. I made mistake previously when not buying the hosting, resulting me not getting database to put my contents and etc. Roughly it costs about RM60 only. Think of it as an investment. Coz’ you can make alot of money out of it. Click here to check whether the domain name (url name) available or not.

2. Install webpage software. Currently, I’m using WordPress software. For me, it’s simple. Just upload the software, install & setup. They also provide the step-by-step on how to do it. Previously my mom got it for RM30, but now I think they sell for RM50. Click here to read more on this.

3. Write something about what you want to sell in your webpage. Some called it “Blogging”. You can also add some pictures to give more info.

4. Market your webpage in the net (Internet Marketing). There are thousands of it. The most powerful one is via participating in net forum or via facebook.

5. Setting up your bank account to receive payments. If you expect, your buyers are just Malaysian, you do not have to register paypal. For my case, Maybank2u is sufficient already. It’s more than enough. Coz’ my target market is local Malaysian.

6. Internet Access is a number one thing that you must have. Here in Malaysia, we have plenty for you to subscribe. We have Celcom Broadband, Maxis Broadband, Streamix TMNet, P1-Wimax and etc. I chose Celcom, coz’ it can tag along with my mobile. So long as I have my handphone with me, I’m connected.

The idea is,  ”to make money online” or some calls it as,  ”to make money from the internet“.

I really envy, people around me who have achieved that. They do many things. There is this questions always stucked in my head, why can’t I? Other ppl is working “fulltime” as well, and yet they gain extra income every day.

I read many success stories, and yet I’m still figuring out, what’s best to sell. I really hope I can spend at least 2 hours per day to work things out & eventually see my acct get increased.

People today expect information can be available as quick as one click. What we normally do when we want something is: we google it ( we search through google), key-in the subject we want to know & zoom .. google will list the most popular one. And the whole idea is that, we want our web page get listed on the first page of search result. The more our page listed in the first page, the better we are. The story behind it is, the more people go to your website, the more likely they are going to buy from it. You’ve got the idea already? Follow me ..
